Twitter on facebook: Works in "Boxes," NOT on "Wall" !!
I don't want Twitter to update my facebook status every time I post, but want friends to see my "tweets" on my profile. The app works fine in Boxes, but when moved to the Wall tab, which is where I want it, it says "no content to display."
FIX THIS, PLEASE!!

Inappropriate?I know it's annoying to have to sign up to this stupid customer service site to let Twitter know their product isn't working, but it seems the only way these issues get noticed is if more people chime in.
Don't be scared. It was my first time, too... -
Inappropriate?Hi Aaron. In case you haven't done so yet, you can also log a request at http://twitter.com/help
It may take a while before you receive a reply, though, since Twitter Support seems to have a backlog (plus it's the Thanksgiving holidays in the US) -
Inappropriate? Is there any update from Twitter on this? I have the exact same problem as Aaron, as do many people as evidenced by the discussion on Facebook. If it isn't going to be an option or something that can/will be fixed then can you please let us know.

Inappropriate?Come Twitter, this is a no brainer. Displaying your current tweet on your Facebook wall but not as a status update is exactly what most people will want to do. Nice that it works in the Facebook Boxes tab, but who cares.
I’m somehow not surprised.

Inappropriate?I also posted this as a bug to twitter.com/help back on Dec 27th, but haven't had a reply yet
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate? And on 3/11/09 This is still the case? What's the hold up? Twitter people read here?
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? You can solve the problem using the RSS feed provided on your Twitter timeline page, copy it, and then paste it in the Blog/RSS imported site that you'll find in the settings at the top of your Facebook wall.
-
Inappropriate? While this is a viable solution, I want this in the box placed on the wall page, not on the boxes page, and not in between normal stories posted to the wall. If I wanted that I would simply use Tweetdeck to post every tweet to the wall.
The fact is that facebook users do not all want to see every gibberish looking tweet on my wall. They also don't want that added to their newsfeed on their home page.
A good solution (and one that doesn't use API calls like the twitter app does) but not what I am looking for.
But, yet again I'm reminded that Twitter doesn't care to support its users.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Personally, I'd like to see Facebook add Twitter to its stable of imported sites under the Wall Settings. Having a single line written to the Wall like a Google Reader update would be ideal.
-
Inappropriate?this is precisely what I would want to avoid. tweets on the wall annoy most people who don't use twitter. In fact, they annoy me, and I am a prolific tweeter.
To most people who don't use twitter, tweets look like incomprehensible gibberish.
This is why I would like them to work in the sidebar box like they are supposed to.
I’m indifferent
-
Inappropriate?I'm up for either solution. I agree with you that seeing people auto-update their FB Status with Twitter updates does get annoying.
-
Inappropriate?Yes, and that feature is available right now, and simply through Tweetdeck (which I no longer use as it is as unsupported as Twitter)
