The help page says Twitter Tracking is disabled. Why is this and when will it be back up? I'm still new to Twitter and am very net-addicted. I NEED to know when someone responds to me!

Inappropriate?Twitter disabled its track feature in June 2008 - and I suspect it's not coming back any time soon.
More recently, @RyanK created TweetTrak, which achieves rather more than track ever did.
TweetTrak converts selected tweets (i.e. those containing keywords of your choice) into Direct Messages (DM) sent to you, though there is a time delay.
If you can receive Twitter SMS text messages, you can choose to receive DMs from TweetTrak too.
