Twitter uptime. Leave or stick around?
I've always known the Twitter service has been spotty at best, but did not realize just how bad until I visit the link below:
http://www.pingdom.com/reports/wx4vra...
The only thing that is keeping most of us here is because our friends are here. Even Leo Laporte said on a recent show (net@night) he would be more than happy to leave if it was not for all of his friends using Twitter.
Broken promises from the Twitter staff have become meaningless. The service never improves.
I'm posting this not because I hate Twitter, but because I really love the service and want to see it improve.
Am I just kidding myselve about the service improving and should make the move to a different service or stick around? What are your thoughts?

Inappropriate?Hey this is Britt from the Engineering team here. The core focus of our entire team (and people we're brining in) is 100% on stability and uptime. It's pretty much all we talk about : )
We're working around the clock to get there. We're not there yet, of course, but we all feel confident that it's coming. We get closer every day. I hope you decide to stick around!

Inappropriate?Britt,
I really want to stick around. If I didn't care I would not have bothered to post the question. :)
It just just getting to be old news when the downtime and different bugs / troubles seem to pop up time after time after time and we keep getting the same promises over and over with little results.
I’m sad

Inappropriate? We understand! Trust me ... whenever there is a glitch or downtime we get as frustrated as you! The most frustrating thing is when working on Twitter when there is a problem and not being able to Twitter about it!
Anyway, hope you stick around. We're here for the long haul!
