Twitter would be great with Google Gears integration

I was just thinking of how great Twitter could be if it were implemented with Google Gears. Google Gears allows websites to have functionality while they're offline, with a local database as well. Synchronizing Twitter updates for viewing offline would be awesome.

I was also thinking about the ability to tweet to the local database, and when internet connectivity reoccurs it would post the updates back onto the web.
