Two accounts one phone #

You can work around the problem if you're open to:
(a) using Twitter Mobile via your phone's browser; or
(b) using a Twitter mobile app.

In my case, my phone number is associated with one Twitter account (so any sms I send from that phone is posted in Account A).

For Account B, there are a variety of mechanisms available, but they all depend on you having gprs/3g access from your phone:

1) Since I use a Palm OS phone, I downloaded TreoTwit, which is a small app that posts Twitter updates.

2) I also know of people who use Fring on their mobile phone to send tweets.

3) If you can't find a mobile app that's compatible with your phone, you can also log into the Twitter mobile web interface via your phone's browser by going to http://m.twitter.com

I know that the three options for Account B above are not ideal. But they may be worth exploring, especially if your phone comes with a data plan that you're not fully utilizing.

And if you don't have a PDA Phone? Any solution to just adding the same number to two different accounts?
