Unable to register my mobile device
I am from India and tried registering my mobile as per the instructions. I SMSed the code to the given number 5566511. But, I got the following response:
"The service is unavailable temporarily"
I am not sure if this is known issue or not and what is expected time to solve this.

Inappropriate?About registration - I tried using the International number provided and I am using Twitter pretty easily now. Although, I must admit the international SMS (text, in the Amreekan lingo) rates are steep! :)
Now when I use the short code 566511, I get a response saying this service is not enabled yet, but my SMS goes thru to Twitter, and my profile is updated!!
Guess Twitter was rightly saying it is still in beta! :)

Inappropriate?Forgot to update this thread but I was able to register my device some time back and am happily receiving the tweets since then.
