Twitter's function of removing/blocking will prompt successful action message yet nothing has changed - User remains. Attempted refreshing cache, alternative browsers, different times of the day with no success.

Inappropriate?Hmm, upon my revisit of my account I noticed that the user does not show up anymore in my following and followers (not sure what changed). However the total number still hasn't taken in account for the removal of the user.
Are we dealing with some type of lag time with twitter or what?

I have same issue with people I block still being able to reply to me even though Twitter shows them as being blocked. Has been more than a day since blocked too -

I have blocked her/it but it still appears on my follwers list... ouch.
The problem with this account is that it's nothing but a porn add via link - I don't want that crap on my account!

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem as well - with the added problem that the people that do not get blocked now appear with an UNBLOCK option. My follower count remains the same after the succesfully blocked message. I have tried on several OSes and both Safari and Firefox, to no avail. Time of day only seems to change how quickly they roll over to being listed with the UNBLOCK option.

This is in regards to a great number of users, some of which should have been removed during the big fix Twitter posted about. The most recent user I've had a problem with is @uWEbfm (Michael Jackson).

Inappropriate?Mine is doing the same thing as Haven's. It's REALLY bothering me, because I will get 10 spammers in one genre if I can't block one of them...and I don't want to be seeing them on my account.
It's been about 4 days with some of the people I've blocked and they are still showing up on my followers list and they have an "unblock" option, but I'd rather they just disappear like they're supposed to.
I love Twitter, but this is really frustrating.
And to clarify, It's doing this to me with ALL users I want to block, not just certain ones.

Inappropriate?I'm getting the same problem as Haven - I block, but they are still in my followers list, only with an 'unblock' option. I'd like to think they are blocked, just not vanishing, but there's no way of knowing (is there?). Some of them have been like that for four days. As with others, it's ALL users I block, not just some.
Here's hoping for the big Twit-fix!
