Users in Canada are unable to verify phones or send tweets via 21212 (late Oct 2008)

Canadian users with previously verified and working mobile devices are now unable to post successfully via sms through 21212.

Users who tried to "delete and start over" also cannot successfully verify their mobile phones right now.

The majority do not receive a response to ON and do not receive updates from friends, but a few still do.

The problem appears to have begun on 2008 Oct 28, but some users were still able to post tweets via sms up to Oct 30 or 31.

The problem appears to be carrier-independent, with reports from customers of Rogers, Bell, Telus, and Virgin Mobile
