Using Twitter For Traveling
Using Twitter whilst traveling.
Do you think it would be a good idea? To keep your friends and family updated whilst you travel round the world?
Or do you think it may distract you from the purpose of traveling: to get away from your usual habitat?
I'm a new twitter user, and I am considering using it whilst I go traveling in combination with my blog:
The Life Of Change.
Also, if you got a lot of other traveling twitter users, might it be beneficiary in the event of meeting up with like minded people?

Inappropriate?Someone I'm following is actually doing this now. See http://twitter.com/_evan. He sends a TwitPic of each stop he makes, and includes a Google Map link also, so people can see where he is as he travels.
And there's also http://twitter.com/rozsavage, who was posting Twitter updates as she rowed solo across the Pacific (from California to Hawaii). She finished the journey early September

Inappropriate?Makes sense... My interest is all travel connected -- came to twitter to seek creative streams. Keep me posted of any ideas. For now I am still just looking around. Your blog URL is right on!
