Inappropriate?Hello. This error message usually comes up when the update starts with something that Twitter considers a keyword or command, such as the word TIPS.
The best workaround is to change the first word of your update to something else so -

Haha! Indeed. My connection died while I was in the middle of an edit. Had to reset the dsl modem.
The last sentence should have read: "The best workaround is to change the first word of your update to something else so Twitter does not interpret your update as a command." -
Aha! That was exactly the word I was trying to use, as in "helpful hints." Thanks! -
A tweet which begins Tips: (with no space between Tips and : ) is OK, however, as in:
Tips: This is accepted as a tweet because there is no space between "Tips" and the colon.
