When can we expect to see 'older' tweets again?
Have only been able to see the last 20 tweets for something like 24 hours now.
Thanks for bringing back the 'replies', but quite frankly a summize search for my name can accomplish that as a work around temporarily. so if you need to cut something in order to work on some secret problem not important enough to tell us about, that would be better than making it nigh impossible to keep in touch with the people I'm following - you know - the reason I'm using twitter in the first place.
I'm trying to hang in there. But investing time re-building my social network over at Jaiku is beginner to look more worthwhile than continually pointing out the obvious here on getsatisfaction - Twitter is borked.
p.s. notice how much nicer the comments on your blog become when you let people know what's going on - you know, the underlying reason people use twitter in the first place - to let people know what's going on. Tweet already Twitter!

Inappropriate?I am used to read older tweets of my (very active) friends and I too would like to know when (and if !) you expect the older tweets to be available again. Thank you

Inappropriate?The way pagination works right now is that you'll be able to view older updates as long as we can serve them out of our cache. This means that we avoid having to go back to the database to create longer timeilnes, and this leads to greater stability.
Unfortunately, it also means that there isn't precise number of older updates that everyone can see. It's different for different folks (based in some part on how much activity there is and so on).
So while I can't tell you precisely when the Older link will return for you, I can say that it should return over time.
