what number did i sign up? twitterhoilc lists for example that "Barack Obama was the 813,286th person to sign up for twitter!" How can I find this information out?

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the RSS button on the lower left.
That button is a link to your RSS feed, and the link URL contains your user number.
If your account name is @johnbrady, then it appears that your user number is 14,158,998
Please note that while the user numbers do go up with each Twitter user that signs up, the numbers are not actually sequential and therefore do not represent the real number of Twitter users on the system.
