When I tweet, twitter texts me. That's not right... right?
When ever I have phone alerts on, and I tweet something twitter text me every tweet I make. Is there a reason for this?

Inappropriate?Whoa, that's super weird. I suggest going to http://twitter.com/devices and clicking the "Delete and start over" button.
There's no option to start receiving SMS updates for your own tweets, so I'm not sure how that could have happened. -

Inappropriate?Does it happen when you tweet from your phone (to 40404) as well, or just via the web site/mobile apps? That's annoying.
If you turn device updates off, does it still happen? -

And if I turn device updates off it stops. It's so weird. I can't find anyone else with the same problem. And yeah annoying as hell. I already know what I'm tweeting, because I just tweeted it! :P -
Inappropriate?Sounds like the problem is on Twitter's end (don't think the mobile provider has anything to do with that), so I'd drop them a note at support AT twitter DOT com. Hopefully they can fix!
