When will IM/twitter@twitter.com be back up?

Would you please update when the IM function will work properly. I use gtalk and twitter@twitter.com is still offline. has been for a week. Please update on your status reports. It's been a week since I could use the service and I'm tired of the self-help board where everyone is complaining and no one from Twitter (the 14 employees how are here to help) is responding. thanks.
