Whenever I post about a trending topic I'm never in the recent tweets.

I understand that Twitter filters the searches, but out of all the times I've posted about Trending Topics and I always click and refresh when i tells me "# of people have responded since you've searched" I am NEVER on there, I make sure to follow the rules and not be tasteless because I know Twitter would filter that out. Also, I try to post about my interests because I want to get more followers who are interested in similar things but whenever I search mine never shows up, even hours later.
