Whitelisted API being rate-limited - please help.
Hi, we are the creators of an App called AggreTweet - a tweet aggregator for video game buzz. We've had our IP's whitelisted for some time now, and are well under our 20,000 Search API calls per hour limit, but are being arbitrarily and judiciously rate-limited for the past 48 hours. It is creating a terrible experience for our users.
We understand there may be a temporary restriction being imposed by Twitter, but we really would appreciate some communication regarding this; especially clarification on whether or not we can keep polling for updates (despite being limited) without your system updating the temporary blacklist upon each blocked request. In short, we want to let our scripts continue to try to update at reasonable intervals, so that once the rate limit is lifted we immediately start seeing reults.
Thank you for your time,
-Josh
