Why am I receiving messages from someone with my screename?
I am receiving email messages from the same Twitter screename as mine- why is this happening? Is anyone else experiencing this and how do I stop it?

Inappropriate?Hi adge. Can you link to one of those messages? Or check one of those messages and see if they're "from Twinkle"?
-
They are from Twitter. What do you mean by link to the message? -
Link meaning -- can you give me a URL so I can look at the message? -
-
Inappropriate?@adge - no, @mdy meant the link to the twitter message that you're talking about. Or is this direct message?
Maybe you can do a screenshot for us -
This is what is says inthe "from" field: from speedytweety via Twitter <twitter- -

Inappropriate?Ah. You mean you're getting self-addressed direct messages?
If yes, did you by any chance recently subscribe to receive updates from a blog through Twitter? I ask because the tinyurl you provided links to FeedBlitz, which provides a "subscribe via Twitter" feature for blogs.
That causes Feedblitz to send you direct messages each time a new update is posted on the blog that you chose to follow.
If you don't remember signing up for this, or you simply want it to stop, I suggest you change your Twitter password. Feedblitz can't post new updates to your account without the correct password -
I don't remember signing up at all- but thanks for your assistance. I have changed my password.. hopefully this will do the trick! Thanks again!
