My updates are showing on my Twitter, but I can't see my friends' updates. Why aren't they?

Inappropriate?pretty much have the same question. I only see my posts or replies. I donot see anyones posts for over an hour and it was happening for a bit earlier today. Alos getting a pop up all day wanting me to log in?
