Why can't we get DSL since we're so close to grid?
We want DSL in our neighborhood. I moved to this rural area in 2/2006, I talked to AT&T customer service and was told DSL should be in our area within 6 months. We are 15000 feet from the nearest grid. I've talked to them several times since then, still nothing. I've had to go with a much more expensive satellite service that I am not happy with. 2yr. service contract ends in August. Is there anyone at AT&T or any other company that can connect us to the grid? I am frustrated and going broke trying to keep up these payments to satellite. Ridiculously expensive and unreliable. Thank you.
