Why Do I Get SMS Messages From Strangers?
When I turn on device tweets for my cell phone I always get tweets from people I have never followed and have never followed me! Why is that? I want device updates from only the people I'm following!

Inappropriate?Have you checked the Track feature settings?
Twitter has a function to send you messages that match a certain keyword to track your interests. From the FAQ:
What is tracking?
Tracking is an SMS or IM only feature that allows you to receive all twitters that match a word you're tracking. For example, if you send track Obama, you will receive all updates that match "Obama." All updates sent from tracking will begin with parenthesis. You can easily stop getting these messages by sending untrack Obama.
To find out what keywords you are tracking, tweet "track" and it will reply with all the keywords you are tracking. Remove them as you see fit.
Also, if you check your Devices settings (http://twitter.com/devices), you can change your setting to only allow Direct Messages, ie: messages starting with "@yourusername") to be sent to your phone.
Hope that helps!
