Why don't any of my tweets show up in Summize?
Searching for my tweets on summize, I get zero results:
http://summize.com/search?q=from%3Awe...
I know that sometimes tweets don't show up in Summize because calls to the public timeline only return the last 20 tweets. But shouldn't at least some of my posts show up?
I've tried searching in Quotably and Tweetscan, and I am showing up in those:
http://quotably.com/wesjustice
http://tweetscan.com/index.php?s=&u=w...
Thanks!

Inappropriate?We tracked this down.
The problem is that your profile image URL is over the max of 128 characters: http://s3.amazonaws.com/twitter_produ...
Unfortunately, this resulted in our rejecting your tweets. We've updated the code to default to Twitter's default profile image in this event, and to not reject the tweet. Therefore, you'll see your tweets appear in Summize from here on.
Better yet, if you update the filename of your profile image to be shorter, it will appear in Summize rather than the default.
We've added some instrumentation to measure this event, and by our estimate 0.02% of profile images are too long. We'll likely end up increasing the limit given this frequency. Seems that our knowledge of the hard limit is incorrect.
Wes, thanks for clueing us into this bug! -
Inappropriate?Great, thanks Greg!
My posts are indeed showing up just fine, now. Went ahead and shortened my image filename as well.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hmm, I have the same problem (but a short image URL): http://quotably.com/biocs http://twitter.com/biocs

Hi Michael --
We received three of your tweets from Twitter on 5/20 (http://summize.com/search?q=from%3Abiocs), but have received none since. This means that Twitter is no longer posting your tweets to the public timeline, as we index all (and only) tweets on the public timeline.
Unfortunately, we don't know why Twitter is filtering you. We'll inquire with Twitter and try to determine what's up.
Thanks for the feedback! -
me too. summize has just 15 of my 200 tweets. And just 3 within the last month. And my image url is shorter than 100 chars. -
Hi Ken --
We followed up with Twitter on this. Twitter has been working on spam detection, and accidentally flagged your account as spam.
Looks like you are now appearing on Summize as expected:

Look good? -
Inappropriate?Hi, I have the same problem -- http://twitter.com/danb21 any chance I can join the parade of folks getting fixed?
Thanks!

Is was okay for me for some time after I first posted. But now search.twitter.com did not record any of my tweets within the last 20 days. -
Inappropriate? My tweets aren't showing up in the search either, nor are my hashtags that I've been using at a conference this week. I'm presenting on Twitter at 2 p.m. Central time to a group of journalists. If I could get this fixed by then, I'd better be able to show why Twitter and hashtags are so great for reporters...
PLEASE HELP!
afj08 is the hashtag I desperately want to show up in searches. broylesa is my username.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?broylesa:
Here's a quick and dirty solution for you, using TweetGrid, which displays two search streams: for broylesa, and for #afj08.
Click the following link, and set Tweets per box to 100.
http://tweetgrid.com/grid?l=1&q1=broylesa%20&q2=%23afj08
If TweetGrid occasionally shows a blank stream, simply refresh the page and reset Tweets per box.
You can easily tune TweetGrid to show up to 9 streams, and to follow whatever keywords or "phrases in quotes" you wish.
I’m confident this will help.

tweetGrid won't display any of the tweets I did over the last month either. -
Inappropriate? You may want to contact Twitter support by logging a ticket at http://twitter.com/help.
In another thread around 4 months ago (click here), someone else's tweets weren't showing up in search because their image URL was longer than search expected.
By contacting support, you'll have a better chance of getting an answer that's specific to your account (although it will probably take several days before you get a reply)
Please don't forget to include your Twitter username in the support ticket (if you do decide to log one) -
Inappropriate?I've had this problem for a month.
My twitter username is ganeshpuri89: http://twitter.com/ganeshpuri89
I logged a ticket on yesterday (Oct 24): https://help.twitter.com/index.php?pg...
I also started a thread yesterday here: http://getsatisfaction.com/twitter/to...
Is it possible I'm being filtered because I'm auto-subscribing to people who follow me using tweetlater.com?
Below is a summary of my problem from thread I started yesterday.
None of my tweets are showing in Twitter Search/Summize. I tried setting my updates to private, then back to public. This has solved the problem in the past, but not this time. Updating from web, Twitterfox and Twitterberry...Same for all: Keyword search returns nada. User Name search returns @replies but not my tweets. Last update appeared on Twitter Search 20 days ago. Even changed email, then changed that back. Nothing. Created new account and posted a tweet there and it appeared immediately on Twitter Search.
Also, I changed my account photo then changed it back, but it has now stopped appearing beside my old updates in Twitter Search. Instead, what appears is part of my pics' file name on my computer (robo_2.jpg).
Can anyone help?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? Now showing up on search.twitter.com. Photo fixed there too. Thank you to whomever is responsible at Twitter.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I'm having the same issue...I'm @mamaluxe. Would love to participate in hashtag conversations but no luck so far!
I’m confused

Inappropriate? This thread on the subject has a company response. And yes, I know this thread does too, but I think the other one is more recent?
I’m sad
