Why don't my text messages update my account?
I've tried to text message my twitter account from my cell and it's not updating my account when I view it online. I've tried the following:

How can I send a text message to my twitter account so it updates it?
Also I do not want to receive text messages to my my at all. This means I don't want to see whose following me when they sign up, nor do I want any messages sent to me when I update what I'm doing. Just send emails regarding updates/notifications. How do I do this?

Inappropriate?My mobile tweets seem to take a very long time to show up on Twitter. A tweet I sent once took about 2 hours to show up on Twitter:

I don't like that it takes that long, I don't think it should take more than one hour. A mobile tweet I sent yesterday at 6pm *still* hasn't shown up.
I set up my mobile phone to only receive DMs and send updates.
