Why isn't Twitter working?
Why doesn't it want to update? Why don't the pages load all the way? I'd say it was my network here at school if it weren't for the fact that it's been like this since I created my account at home.

Inappropriate?Yep, I'm on the website, trying to update. None of the images will open..all the text will, but none of the pictures. And the update button doesn't work.
I've had the loading problem from the time I created an account, but not the problem with it not uploading anything at all. That's the just the last few days. -

Inappropriate?I've tried it with IE 7 and 6. whatever, and the latest Firefox. The only add-on I have on any of them is the Google toolbar, which I uninstalled and re-downloaded today..just in case.
If it were just at school, I'd chalk it up to the mountains of issues we seem to have there with our network. But I don't have any problems at home. -

In Firefox: Tools --> Options --> Advanced Tab --> Clear Now button
In Internet Explorer: Tools --> Internet Options --> General Tab --> Delete Files button (under Temporary Internet Files) -
Inappropriate?That doesn't help. It's one of the first things I tried. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to possible software and application problems, but I'm grasping at straws here.

If you don't experience problems with a second account, then at least we know for sure that the problem is specific to the account that you have now, and that Twitter support will have to step in...

Inappropriate?I created another account, that seems to be working fine. However, I'd prefer not to have to keep the 2nd account--the first one is set up for work with work contact info.

Inappropriate?Would you happen to have the Safari browser and does Twitter work properly with it?
I'm asking because a few other people reported having trouble with Twitter's web pages on Firefox and IE, but that it works on Safari... and I wanted to see if you have the same experience. If you do, maybe it's the same problem. -
Inappropriate?I have tried to update from my online account, but the options are all crossed out: does this mean Twitter wants us to only use the cell phone texting to update?

Inappropriate?No, I don't have Safari..I'm not sure why I need to keep trying different browsers. It seems the problem is with Twitter, not the browsers. I really don't have time to keep jacking with this--that's what the people in support are for, not the end user.

Do you mean you can't login? Or that there's no place for you to post an update after logging in?
Do you experience the same problem when you go to http://m.twitter.com (the mobile web version)? -

I've been trying to just start an account. I tried to sign up, the page isn't working. So I refresh and try again, and it tells me that the username is now taken. Yeah...BY ME!!!!
If this is how poorly Twitter works, maybe I'm not interested

Inappropriate?This is STILL a problem...something needs to be done. I use Twitter as a resource while I'm at work and would LOVE to share it with coworkers, but it doesn't WORK.
What's worse is that in 5 months, no one at Twitter seems to think they should do something about it.
