Why won't Twitter accurately time-stamp my Direct Messages?
We are using Twitter in a real-time auction bidding system. It is vital to our project that the Direct Message sent by our customer has a time-stamp associated with it when it reaches our Twitter account.
As far as we can tell, there is not in place an accurate time stamp for Twitter's Direct Message system, it refers to loose time frames for example "about two hours ago".
NG for our application, we need the real time in seconds, just like typical pop3 or IMAP email between servers.
Can you help?
