Why won't Twitter let me post new updates anymore?
Twitter won't allow me to post any new updates. My last successful attempt was yesterday morning. Whenever I go to post a new message online, I type in the words, hit update, and the words go nowhere and just sit in my box. I have yet to have an update go through. What's going on?

Inappropriate?I've been having the same problem. Since Thursday morning, I've only been able to update once (and that was after several attempts Thursday night). Once I click update, nothing happens. I also tried to update by text from my phone, and that didn't work either.

Not that it's any comfort - but most (if not all) Twitter users worldwide have been inconvenienced by the DDoS attack on Twitter, Facebook etc. -
Inappropriate?Same issue as everyone else. I've been able to post a few times since I actually took notice of the issue a couple days ago, but not reliably. Slandr works for me.

Inappropriate?I had same problem with firefox. I went to FF tools --> options --> privacy and then clicked on the "show cookies" button on right. Then selected the Twitter cookies (and twitter add-ons) and deleted them all - folders and everything.
It has worked fine for me since then. Good luck! -
Inappropriate?Tried deleting my cookies and it did not work. Thanks for the suggestion though. Bah!... Twitter must be updating something and messing everything up.

voodoozen, if you're open to trying a third-party Twitter web app, I suggest trying http://m.slandr.net -- I use this one often myself.

Inappropriate?Yeah, I just recently started having this problem. Yesterday I went to update from the web and the little spinning loading circle just stays in the corner and nothing happens. I can update from text fine.
