For days my twitter counter will not update and it doesn't update unless I manually press the update button. Why doesn't it automatically update?

Inappropriate?I have the same problem even after manually pressing update. It seems that my count has been stuck for couple days now. Before when I pressed update manually, I was able to get it to update.
