My TwitterCounter is NOT updating!
Some accounts don't update. I now know of 30 accounts that don't update. I'm not sure what the problem is exactely except that anyone can re-create it in Firefox 2.0 on a Mac. Check any of these usernames and you will see that Twitter gives you a XML error. That is the reason I can't update them unfortunately. Here is the list of known accounts with this problem:

Turns out these accounts were all locked but didn't display that well in FF 2.0. Twitter updated today so this is now solved.

This is NOT solved!!! Counter still doesn't count!!! Does not update EVEn when the 'update counter' button is clicked. It doesn't do anything else so if it doesn't even count what's the point of it??

Looks like an interface or cache issue. Just checked both the account and they were updated...

Just checked your acount and i updated just fine. TwitterCounter updates once every 24 hours. Sometimes it takes longer if Twitter has a slow day. Maybe yesterday it was a busy day for Twitter...

The counter updates daily. Maybe it was a little slow tonight. Your account is updated now and shows 221 followers. let me know if it is slow in the future.

WHat is your username? TwitterCounter updates automatically every 24 hours and you can manually update it on your profile page...

TweetDeck only updates that count on start-up. If you want to see an updated number restart that App. They query our service once on start-up only.

Inappropriate?OK first time I saw it was the day I upgraded to tweetdeck .21 and then it stayed the same amount everyday I started tweetdeck till I went to twittercounter and manual put in my name. Now when I start tweetdeck it says 237 which is the correct number of followers.

Hi overloadedmama; right now you have 17 followers at Twitter and at TwitterCounter. The TwitterCounter on your blog shows 16 followers. These numbers might change daily and there might be a small difference between the different numbers. The reason for this is that TwiutterCounter checks your follower count once every 24 hours or more if you manually update on your stats page and the image is cached (kept in memory) for a few hours in between updates. The difference is usually very small and fixed within hours.

If you have a cache plugin, try clearing the cache so that the content is live.

I already mentioned this in my previous message and my stats were updated only once and now the latest stats are not updated.. does this mean that should i send a message each time to get my stats updated? Isn't this ridiculous to ask for updates each time?

The number we report is the number we get from Twitter. they just don't seem to update your account. Happens to some accounts and it is a bug they are aware of. Hope they fix it soon.
