Twittercounter widget does not appear in my side bar

I added the code for the twitter counter widget to my sidebar.php and nothing is displayed on my blog www.mobileinternetsolutions.com. I also have installed and activated the twittercounter plugin. What am I doing wrong? Note I do NOT use blogger, I am self hosted.
