    is.gd and Magic Selection

Add the ability to use is.gd as a tiny url service. It's the shortest of all and can help with long rss titles. Also good would be the ability to select whichever service would make the URL the longest without going over the 140 character limit.

Deleted corresponding OpenID - can't login Last reply on June 03, 2008 07:13.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I deleted my wordpress.com account when I started to self-host, but I forgot that I was using it as my OpenID login with TwitterFeed. How can I login? Wordpress won't reactivate accounts.

    Thanks for your help.

Can't access OpenID that account was set up with... Last reply on June 03, 2008 07:11.

I used to log in with my WordPress open ID but have recently moved my ID over to a hosted domain, now I can't log in because Twitterfeed can't find the OpenID server... What do I do?? :(

If my account can just be deleted, that would be great

Cannot login, I no longer own my registered OpenID! Last reply on March 31, 2008 12:07.

I no longer use the OpenID my account was registered with (nor can I reregister it), so I can't login to modify my crossposting settings. It's likely I will need specific assistance from the fellow who owns the site, since there's not much I can do in my position. (Yes, I know I was silly to trash the OpenID I had).

    Thanks,

What alternatives (if any) are there to PubDate? Last reply on June 02, 2008 07:36.

What alternatives (if any) are there to PubDate?

I'm trying my best to import a feed from feed43 (HTML scraping), then put on twitter. The feed doesn't include PubDate, but I'm trying to find the best alternative.

I've spent the past 3 hours or so trying to fidget around with Yahoo Pipes to add a pubDate in, but it seems to absolutely hate me.

    Here's the feed from feed43: http://feed43.com/7635766114514357.xml

    Any ideas?

Posts from Jaiku show the text twice. Last reply on June 01, 2008 13:05.

When I submit a story to Jaiku, the text is repeated in Twitter. This would seem to be wrong. I guess your thinking that there's a title and a body, but ordinary jaiku messages are just a title (from my minimal browsing of the API).

Could twitterfeed add support for asctime's format in pubDate? Last reply on June 01, 2008 12:15.

I know that pubDate should be in rfc822 date-time format (something like: "%a, %d %b %Y %H:%M:%S GMT" -- argument for strftime() or strptime()), but my RSS feed supplies pubDate in the format "%a %b %d %H:%M:%S %Y" (default format produced by asctime(), ctime() functions).

Could twitterfeed add support for such format?

I've created a yahoo pipe to fix item's pubDate as a workaround, but maybe someone has this problem too.

Do we need PubDate really? Last reply on April 03, 2008 07:04.

I'm trying to use twitterfeed to republish a brief weather forecast for my city. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to do this while ensuring there is a pubDate field in the rss feed. Is there any way twitterfeed could ignore the fact that there isn't one? Thanks!
