I am trying to contact the good samaritan who set up our rss feeds as a twitter feed (@minnpost). Thought I could direct message them through Twitter, but Twitter does not allow d message for some reason? Any ideas how I can contact? Or, if contact can not be made, can I get advice on how I can manage the account? I am the director of operations at minnpost.com.
I created a new twitterfeed about an hour and a half ago. It's supposed to update every 30 minutes, but isn't. Login name is EnvNewsBits. Feed URL is http://lib.wmrc.uiuc.edu/enb?feed=rss2. Both authenticate when tested.
When i tried to put in my feed on twitterfeed, i get the following status for my feed
We couldn't find date/time stamps on items. Please make sure your feed contains valid pubDate entries for each post, or select 'based on GUID' in twitterfeed settings
Twitterfeed is pulling seemingly random old posts from my RSS feed. It pulls new posts just fine, but in two instances it has pulled posts from yesterday's feeds.
Those old posts (blog entries) are showing up in my Twitter feed.
Somehow twitterfeed is sending a duplicate of my twitterstream (@jakemckee) to a separate account (@__jakemckee). I didn't set up this account, nor do I wish my content to be duplicated into this account.
If you look at the funky account itself: http://twitter.com/__jakemckee you'll see that it's all coming from twitterfeed. Is there a way to manually remove this from the twitterfeed system?
I have forgot my password and whenver I enter in my mailing address it says it has sent out the password reset...but I have not received an email. I have sent three over the past few hours. I am okay with making a new account, but it won't let me sign up my cell since it already has an account. How can I switch my phone over without logging into my old account?
I have a single twitterfeed account that pulls RSS feeds from different blogs and sends them to two different twitter accounts (rakeshagrawal and snapstream, my personal and my company twitter accounts).
Problem is that I can't remember what OAuth server I used to login originally. I vaguely recall it was wordpress, but I don't see wordpress on the list anymore. Then I thought it was Vidoop, but that didn't work either.
Is there a way for someone at twitterfeed to tell me what OAuth server was used to create the existing twitterfeed account that I have? I'd like to make some modifications and additions that my existing account.
I currently have two Feeds setup within TwitterFeed, One has been setup for well over a week and a half, one I've only added about an hour ago. Neither of which have updated. Both RSS Feeds pass verifcation but simply don't post. I've had to revert to manually creating a snippet and a TinyURL to the content on the oldest of the two (Twitter: OneEvents) and I've tried two feeds on the newest of the two, Neither of which resulted in a successful post to twitter. (Twitter: CNBCEurope)
Both say that they are updating and have updated within the last 30 minutes (As is set in the Control Centre for both.)
(As a note, The ID's on twitter for both Feeds are OneEvents and CNBCEurope.)
There's an error - I can't login to Twitterfeed. And when I do with my OpenID I got at jiwai.de ID, I keep on being asked to confirm if I want to link the two up (use the Jiwai.de OpenID to log in; grant it permissions and stuff). It works on Jiwai.de, but then I am told that verification failed on the side of TwitterFeed.
This is the kind of stuff that kills productivity and inspiration dead in its tracks. I'd appreciate any way out of this catch-22. Thanks!
(Sorry if I'm posting this more than once. I'm on an iffy GPRS connection. Please dump repeat posts. Thanks!)
The tinyURL is not being generated. ( yes everything looks checked ) I have a feeling because something on my end is screwy maybe the rss link : http://www.onn.tv/optionsnewsnetwork/... any thoughts or suggestions?
I am trying to set up RSS feed and when I type in the URL and hit test, it says the "we couldn't parse this feed, please check the URL is valid". I know the URL is correct. Could someone help me?
i recently changed to my own openid and deleted my old one before actually deleting the associated twitterfeeds. How can i remove my feeds from my old openid login ?
