Hello all,
I use Google Reader to sort through a large amount of RSS Feeds and News Sources across the internet. When I find interesting news, I add it to my RSS feed. I then use twitterfeed.com to update my Twitter account with new and interesting news. A great process which I really enjoy. (PS - Thanks for the service!)
My feed description: "I (Justin M. Wray) comb through hundreds of news feeds looking for interesting content, so you don't have to! My news items are mostly technically related, with an emphasis on Information Security. But every-now-and-then you will find a funny article, or current event pop-up. Posts are left unedited, however I will comment on ones I find worthy. Enjoy and if you wish, share. [This content is not created, edited, published, nor endorsed by Justin M. Wray. All articles come from original news sources, and are linked accordingly within the header. Use caution when visiting any links within any post, and/or following any directions mentioned.]"
I then use Feed Burner to burn my feed to an easy to read and use link.
My feed:

I update my feed by "staring" content/posts within Google Reader. This simply re-posts RSS posts to my feed. This then adds the post to the current RSS feed.
However Google Reader does not use GUIDs therefore the XML does not contain such field.
Google Reader also keeps the original content headers, a desired feature. Which as a result keeps the original author, links, and publish date (from the original feed) intact within the header/XML.
While I enjoy the fact that the original content is unaltered, the sporadic publish dates and time causes twitterfeed to not properly update. And the lack of GUIDs isn't allowing me to use said option.
How can I properly update my twitterfeed, sorting based on the order in which the content appears within the feed? Using any feed reader, the content does show up in the correct order. Ideas? Thoughts? Help? New Sorting Features?
I look forward to any assistance with this matter.
Thanks,
Justin M. Wray
