Does the fact the twitterfeed.com/reminder say my login is me.yahoo.com/thesandiegoist but then yahoo logs me in as me.yahoo.com/thesandiegoist#24eb1 matter? When I log in, my feed... which is updating to my twitter account... isn't there.
On my wordpress blog, I have the rss feed set to "summary mode". It isnt showing a date... which apparently twitterfeed needs in order to work. How do I add this?
Is there a way to submit a message that can be delivered to a feed owner? I do not believe in disclosure - I just want to send a message to a twitterfeed owner asking for contact. Someone created a feed for our Public Radio station and we'd like to incorporate or support it, but there's no obvious way to reach them due to Twitter's mutual follow rule for direct message.
These will be included in the Aft_Reise user at Twitter. However, even though I know new items have been posted in both of the feeds, these are not reflected in the Aft_Reise user.
I know that pubDate should be in rfc822 date-time format (something like: "%a, %d %b %Y %H:%M:%S GMT" -- argument for strftime() or strptime()), but my RSS feed supplies pubDate in the format "%a %b %d %H:%M:%S %Y" (default format produced by asctime(), ctime() functions).
Could twitterfeed add support for such format?
I've created a yahoo pipe to fix item's pubDate as a workaround, but maybe someone has this problem too.
Can't get the rss feed from my blogger account to parse. It's not the standard blogspot address. It's a custom domain. When this same feed is entered into any other rss reader, it works.
I love Twitterfeed. It is the magic that connects my online life and allows me to get my information where I want it. Thank you for making it!
I was wondering if you are planning to add support for password-protected RSS feeds? I'm trying out http://www.iwantsandy.com, which is a personal reminder site. It uses Twitter direct messages but I was hoping to take it a step further and send the RSS feed of all my activity to a Twitter account. However, its RSS feeds are password-protected, so I can't use Twitterfeed for it at the moment.
I have just under 700 service events going on in theUS for Global Youth Service Day that I'd like to slowly appear via RSS into Twitter, can twitterfeed do that? We have them stored in a Google Spreadsheet which can feed them as an RSS, but I don't think I can control the order/posting --it's all 700 or none at all. I saw /topics/update_more_than_five_items , which seems to indicate that 695 of the 700 will get lost forever.
I've just entered the URL for my blog, tested 4 times and it says my URL is not valid, even though it works great on Firefox and Internet Explorer. What could be the problem?
Does Twitterfeed only work with RSS 2.0? I caould not get it to recognize my url http://www.wibw.com/news/headlines/in...
Originally I thought it was a problem with the pubDate, because of my error message, but then saw this and realized i was using a 0.92 feed.
I'm getting stuff from another feed mixed up with mine! I have three feeds from my weblogs that link into my twitter, but I'm getting other material from a totally different newsfeed/blog appearing in my twitter stream
