API of Ping.FM Not Working
Hi,
I have done what is asked on twitterfeed. I got the api, paste it and clicked on
"Get available methods"
and it says ping fm error.
Please help.

Inappropriate?Does it give any additional information? For example, if the API key is invalid, i should say "Ping.fm error: Invalid user application key."1 Comment

Inappropriate?I'm doing exactly the same thing and receive the same message, but when I copied it to paste here, this is what I saw:
"Ping.fm error:
Your HelloTxt API user_key
get available services
Spinner_mac HelloTxt error: user key not specified"
I definitely chose ping.fm from the drop down menu, so this is weird.

Are you sure you have some services already set up in Ping.fm? It won't work unless there's at least one post method that contains a service to post to.

Inappropriate?Thanks Mario, you're absolutely right. The Ping.fm application key didn't work in Twitterfeed until I added a social network. Oops... ahem. I had to work through the instructions on connecting Ping.fm to Facebook a couple of times, but got there in the end. Cheers!
