Can you please not change my short URI settings? =)
I'm not a fan of bit.ly, I've had some negative experiences with the service in the past and I find it unreliable. Which is why I had specifically selected my URIs to be shortened through TinyURL. Now for some reason, last night I noticed that suddenly all my feed settings have been automatically changed to use bit.ly instead. And guess what, all the bit.ly links sent to my various networks [through Ping.fm] via twitterfeed are broken. Yes, they all give "not found" errors.
Then I went and manually changed all the settings back to TinyURL, and everything works fine again now. So could you please not automatically switch me to bit.ly again? Thanks! =)

Inappropriate?This was a one-off change (see also http://twitterfeed.wordpress.com/2009...)
We did it because the majority of people using tinyurl were users that set up their feed before we offered bit.ly as default, and because you get some stats with bit.ly it made sense to move.
However, if you decide to use tinyurl you are perfectly ok to do so, and we won't automatically switch settings again.
