Can't recover openID with Twitter username/password
I can't recover my openID because Twitterfeed can't find my Twitter username and password. Maybe I changed my Twitter password. Twitterfeed is still posting to Twitter, I can't turn it off!

Inappropriate? If twitterfeed posts to your account, the twitter password that twitterfeed knows about must still be correct (otherwise you wouldn't see any posts).
If entering the twitter username/password at https://twitterfeed.com/reminder doesn't show anything despite the information being correct, you may try to use the email address you used to sign up to twitter instead of the twitter username - posting through the API works with both, so perhaps when you set up the feed you use the email address instead of the username.
If all else fails I can manually remove the feed (assuming I can find it - in theory what I can find the reminder page should also find), but in that case I'd need some proof that you own that twitter account, e.g. by sending me a "@mario" message on twitter, from the account that you want to remove the feed from.

Mario has kindly pointed out a misunderstanding on my part which has clarified that Twitterfeed was NOT sending these tweets. My mistake entirely. Hope Mario will forgive me for being a bit of a Twit - ahem... -
Inappropriate?I still cannot get access using the https://twitterfeed.com/reminder URL.
I have the correct Tweeter name and correct e-mail (I assume you use the say password?) and cannot get to my feeds to manipulate them at all.
Any help would be appreciated.
I’m sad
-
Could you let me know the twitter account, and I'll take a closer look. -
I can't see an entry for this twitter account - are you sure it's in there? I also can't see any posts from twitterfeed in your timeline.
If you do think it's in there, you may have used the email address you used to sign up at twitter instead? (Although I checked and there's nothing posting to robhinaz@aol.com either, but you may have used a different email when signing up to twitter). -
Inappropriate?Gee, I can't see anything either, that is the problem.
As I stated clearly above I know what my Twitter name is, what my password is and the e-mail. I can log in and out of Twitter and I receive e-mails from Twitter.
When I try to use twitterfeed I enter the info, I follow the process and when I try to view it again I cannot see my feeds.
Nothing shows to Twitter in regards to the Blog I am trying to push, although that very RSS feed works elsewhere without issue.
Here is the blog feed - birdmanblog.com/rss.xml
I cannot get twitterfeed to let me in via username or e-mail....
I’m frustrated
-
I can't see a feed with this URL. It looks like there is no feed from that URL going to your twitter account.
When you login and set up a feed, after saving it, can you then see it in the list of feeds? For whatever reason it looks like this feed hasn't been added. -
Inappropriate? If I log in using Open ID, setup a feed and then look at the list there is nothing.
I cannot log in using my Twitter password or e-mail and I know for 100% certain that they are correct.
So, what can I do to get this to work for me? -
It sounds like for some reason the feed isn't saved. I've never heard of this problem - are you sure you actually hit "Save" after creating a new feed, rather than just clicking on the "Authenticate at twitter" link?
The process should be something like...
- click on "add new feed"
- on the new feed page, click on "Authenticate at twitter" to link this new feed to your twitter account
- now fill in the feed URL, and select your options. You may want to test the feed URL using the link on the page
- with everything filled in, click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page
- this should return you to your list of feeds, where the new feed should now be listed (unless there was an error, in which case it returns you to the new feed page where you can fix the error before hitting "Save" again).
Is this not what you see/do? -
Inappropriate?OK, I now can see the feed in my twitterfeed account.
I think I was verifying after setting things up and not before.
Now it is there....but not posting.
I’m hopeful?
-
Inappropriate?Took a bit longer than an hour, but it is now posted.
I'll let you know of I have further issues.
Thanks for answering my questions and addressing my concern.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi - Ive got the same problem. I cant login to access my feed. I know my Twitter username and email and password but it's not recognising any combination.
I really need to alter the feed asap, any ideas of how to get in to change things.
Much appreciated
-
Could you let me know the twitter account you're posting to, and I'll try and take a closer look. -
Inappropriate?Mario, its pcooklin - Thanks.
-
I see you're using a myVidoop OpenID - their service was down earlier today but is now back, so this may have been the problem. Can you try and log in again? -
Inappropriate?I'm having a similar problem. I know that my blog updates are being posted to Twitter by Twitterfeed (because it says "twitterfeed" in the timestamp), but for the life of me, I don't remember using OpenID when I first set up my Twitterfeed account. Is OpenID a recent development here? I set up my feed a few months ago.
I can login to Twitterfeed with my Google Openid, but there are no feeds listed in my account. If I use my Twitter account and password on the "reminder" page, it says I don't exist!
This is weird! What should I do?
I’m very confused
-
Inappropriate?Hi - I was told that Twitterfeed had some 'problems' for a few hours and to try again, which worked for me. I managed to get my login details and adjust the feeds.
Hope that helps. -
Inappropriate?Nope, I still get "We couldn't find a matching twitter username and password in our database."
I’m still confused
-
Inappropriate?you need to wait a few hours, maybe a day, thats whay I had to do. If not, get in touch with them on here,
