Clarify who the feed is from with different picture.
Hello, I have just set it all up and it works really well bringing my Facebook friend statuses into Twitter via the RSS feed, the thing is status updates appear to come from me as they have the same photo and the same Twitter username (my username). So my Twitter messages and Facebook updates look the same at a glance.
I think anything through Twitterfeed should use the Twitter logo, that would increase awarenes of Twitterfeed and build brand awareness.

Inappropriate?I don't think that's possible through the API (you can't change the twitter image for individual messages). If you want to distinguish these posts from your normal tweets, you could use the option in twitterfeed to define a string before the text being tweeted. Re. brand awareness, that's probably covered ok by the "from twitterfeed" attribution.

Inappropriate?I can see why the image can't be changed per message, but each user can have their own image. If all the Twitterfeed messages came through the Twitterfeed user account, then they would all have the Twitterfeed logo and that would differentiate it from my own tweets.
I don't know how to write much code myself but there should be a way to tell the browser that "all RSS feeds from this registered Twitterfeed user account are sent as a Twitterfeed tweet to that confirmed Twitter user". This system would mean I get RSS titles from Twitterfeed not at-a-glance from myself.
Images are also always preferred as they make identify user, or brand, faster and easier than reading text, which is why is logo design is a cottage industry in it's own right. -
Inappropriate? The way twitter works, I don't think this would work. If I sent all twitterfeed tweets to a separate twitterfeed account, then a) that account would contain tweets from all (currently) nearly 20,000 feeds, not just yours, and b) if someone followed you, they wouldn't see the twitterfeed tweets unless they followed that user also.
What you could do is create your own alternate twitter account and post your twitterfeeds to that, but it would still mean that people following your main account won't see these tweets unless they follow the alternate account also. -
Inappropriate?Hi Mario
I've started getting SMS notifications on Twitter now. I only get a few feeds via Twitterfeed such as Facebook status updates and your "BBC Breaking" feed. Is there a way to get a text message when Twitterfeed updates? I can't get text notification on messages I send myself and Twitterfeed messages appear to come from me.
You've said this is not possible with the Twitter API but for RSS feeds with occasional entries especially from social networks, this would be ideal. Perhaps you can contact Twitter about it.

Inappropriate? All I can suggest is to create a second twitter account, let twitterfeed post to that, and then follow this second account. This would then send you notifications. If you want the updates to also appear in your own twitter account, you could easily post the same feed to both your own and your "second" twitter account.
