Facebook Publishing Setup - No Step 2
I'm aware that the facebook publishing is new, but here's some bug reports for you!
I connected my account to my facebook account successfully, but when I select the drop down for publishing directly to one of my pages it has a pop-up that says "Request for Special Permissions", but then the window shrinks down and then does nothing. I can close the dialog box and hit the "continue to step 2" button, but then again it does nothing.
In fact I just tried leaving the drop down on "no page publish to wall" and then hitting the "continue to step 2" button and it still does nothing. So I suppose the problem is getting to step 2.
Really love Twitterfeed and have never had a problem with publishing my feed to Twitter.

Inappropriate?Facebook authentication problem - similar to above.
When my Twitter feed tries to get added to my Facebook page it seems to be generating this error: facebook error: 200 Permissions error.
I followed all the steps when creating this and everything seems to work in that the "Connect with Facebook" validates and the drop down adds my account name. I then select to publish to a page (which shows in the second drop down) rather than just my wall and a box opens that says "request for special permissions". However this doesn't seem to do anything and just sits there. I can manually close it and/or complete the rest of the form. So yes I can get to Step 2.
It looks like the "request for special permissions" is not completing and therefore when twitterfeed is tying to post to the page it is getting the permission error.
See pic of the "request for special permissions" below:
I’m wishing it would just work

Inappropriate?yes, this is exactly my problem too... i also get the shrunk down "request for special permissions" box which just hangs there ... wasn't sure if this was a problem so just continued thru.... & facebook error: 200 Permissions error... when tested.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? Thanks for posting that screenshot! I have the exact same issue.
I’m bummed and looking foward to this working!
-
Inappropriate?Yes, I have the same (similar?) problem. It connects to my Facebook account, and I select a page from the dropdown. I click 'continue to step2", fill in the feed details and click create. I get the error, "Must specify facebook account"
I’m sad

Inappropriate? This makes 2 Twitterfeed accounts I can't do anything with. I wish I could get some help.
-
Inappropriate? This is maybe a facebook bug rather then a friendfeed bug, see this page http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/s... it seems that other apps have the same problem
-
Inappropriate?Well, I suppose it's only right I throw my 0.02 in here as well. I am sooo glad it's not just me, though. I'm still miffed, but as they say, misery loves company. LOL
Hmm. 5 days and no resolution, eh?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? Not working for me. Latest message within the feed:
[feed status: feed checked 2009-10-28 13:45:57 : facebook error: 200 Permissions error]
twitterfeed seem to have gone quite on this.
I’m about to ditch it and look elsewhere
-
You have to authorize it: try edit feed and set it to publish to the page, facebook authorization should pop-up, if not try deleting and recreating the feed -
Ah okay that makes sense. Done and now seems to be working. Thanks for that. -
Inappropriate?Yeh!!! It seems to have been fixed!! I'm so happy!!!
I’m soooooo happy!!!! Twitterfeed remains a firm fave!!!
