Feed doesn't update after first entry...
Our feed is showing as parsed okay (green check) and the first entry was fed correctly, but since then it has not updated despite there being new entries.

Inappropriate?yeah, i am reluctant to try another twitter account, in case it all starts working any time soon. is there an auto-update that you can click to tell twitterfeed to look again at the RSS?
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?ok, a little more info...maybe i;'m just too impatient. When I mouse-over the feed for status in twitterfeed...it says "not checked yet (new feed?)"
I’m curious
-
Inappropriate?all good now...it just took a while. It was not instant, and even though i set the update to 'every 30 minutes', it took longer than that. All set now, though.
hope my impatience helps someone else who is wondering whether the feed is instant - it isn't.
I’m happy.

Inappropriate?Less there be any confusion, Jeff's issue was separate (and different) from what we originally posted -- our feed was not new, but hasn't updated since first being created (and grabbing the first entry). Our problem still exists.

Inappropriate?collectSPACE: your problem is caused by all the items links being the same. If you select to post the item links to twitter (in the twitterfeed options), twitterfeed checks if it has perviously posted an item to your account with the same link, and if so, won't post it again.
There's 2 ways around this: either untick the "include link" option in twitterfeed for this feed (the link isn't very useful if it's the same for every post anyway), or else - preferably, but maybe a bit harder - change your feed so the link on each item actually points to this link, rather than to the blog generally. Then, since every link will be different, twitterfeed should post new items.

Inappropriate?I have a feed that is used to point subscribers to updated pages that, at one time, may have been referenced in the past with the same URL. Its necessary to include the link. Does Twitterfeed not recognize the new feed item then?
I’m almost concerned
-
Inappropriate?seven24: What I did to correct our problem (pointing to the same page as before) was to add a unique anchor to the update. Therefore, while we're still linking to the same page, its perceived as a different URL. As you can have an unlimited number of anchors on a page and their placement can overlap, that might help solve your problem, too.
