Invalid feed causing problems
Hi I am trying to add the following feed to twitterfeed but keep getting the error: "A feed needs to contain publish dates or GUIDs in order to work with twitterfeed, see help"
The feed doesn't validate and unfortunately it's not my feed. Is there any way of adding this to twitterfeed?

Inappropriate? As the help suggests (http://twitterfeed.com/help#faq3) we need either pblish dates or GUIDs. You could try editing/processing it in Yahoo! Pipes, quite a fe of our users use this to edit/process feed content. If it works, you can then user the RSS feed output from the Yahoo! Pipe in twitterfeed.

Thanks for replying Mario. The feed I am trying to add is (http://www.mcd.ie/rss/rss_feed.php). I tried processing it with Pipes but still doesn't seem to be working, is there something I'm doing wrong? -
The problem with the original feed is what I mentioned - it doesn't contain any publish dates or GUIDs, and twitterfeed needs at least one of the two in order to work (so I knows if an item is new and should therefore be posted).
Is this the only feed available from that site? If you don't own the site, perhaps you could contact the owner and see if they provide a feed that contains at least one of the 2 elements mentioned.
Re. Yahoo! Pipes, I think there is some way to add GUIDs to a feed, but I only say this because others seem to have been able to do it, I never have actually done it myself, so you'd probably need to ask for help in places specific to Yahoo! Pipes if you need assistance on how to do this.
