Login/Register

I want to register without using OpenID. Is there an alternative? OpenID by the way doesn't seem to be working. In addition, I don't have one connected to my twitter account.

No, currently OpenID is the only way to login, and I haven't planned to change this. Given that nowadays there's so many OpenID providers (Yahoo, AOL etc. etc., just see the loging page), the majority of people probably already have an OpenID, even if they don't know it. Otherwise, signing up for one is free and pretty painless.

Does the OpenID account I use here need to be connected with a personal twitter account, or can I use any OpenID to register & use twitterfeed?
