Selected bit.ly but TwitterFeed still using tinyurl. Why & how to change it?
I'm having problems as twitterfeed is using tinyurl even though I've made sure the bit.ly account settings were correct. I've gone to bit.ly to verify my login and api key, then checked (& re-checked) to see if it was entered into the advanced settings section correctly. Help! Thanks for the help.

Inappropriate? If it happens all the time, then it does suggest there's something wrong with the bit.ly API info. I know that bit.ly is very fussy about usernames, and it even matters if letters are in upper/lower case - could you check you specified the username/login exactly as it appears at http://bit.ly/account/your_api_key/, including any upper/lower-case letters?

Inappropriate?Checked and re-checked. Still nothing -- very frustrated.

Inappropriate?I'm getting fed up seeing tinyurl and it messes up my url's so they look like: http://tinyurl.com/www.mysite.com/etc... which results in a 404 error for each tweet's link. I specifically chose snipurl (it asked for my account name but not API key?) and those darn tinyurl's keep coming out. How do we use snipurl or bitly (same problem) without getting the tinyurl's?
I’m not happy
