Spambots on twitterfeed
Twitterfeed Bots using our companies name as searchcriteria and producing a lot of spam retweeting the twitter search results rss. What can we do to avoid this problem? By now there are about 20 of these Bots, still increasing. We tried to contact each account but now way to get an answer.

Inappropriate?Disallowing rss feeds from twitter search would also knock out thousands of very useful bots, so not sure that such a blanket decision would be very beneficial. Also, it's trivial to run such a feed through feedburner, Yahoo Pipes or similar, which makes it impossible to tell where it came from originally.
Usually you're best off reporting these users to twitter (send DM to @spam) - we're often working together with twitter to find related accounts etc. in an effort to get these disabled, but it really has to be initiated by twitter themselves, as I don't think we can make the decisions which twitter accounts go against twitter ToS ourselves. -
Inappropriate?of course your right. we are reporting those "users" but as we are reporting 10, there are 15 new ones. Search on twitter for studiVZ and take a look at the users, 80% of the Tweets comming from Bots via twitterfeed.
