Suggestion: Exclude filter
I like the idea of the 'exclude' filter, but it would also be great to have a 'negative exclude' filter. In other words, instead of only showing posts with the filter word, it would be great to exclude posts with a filter word, perhaps preceded by a "-", as in Google searching.
For example, if my filter was "-flickr" (without quotes), then items with the word "flickr" would not be passed through to Twitter.

Inappropriate?thought I'd give some context to this feature: I just took on integrating my recent changes of my wiki. now wikispaces hasn't implemented "minor edits" - I would love to put in "minor edit" in the comment so these don't clutter up my twitter!
I’m excited i'm not alone!

Inappropriate? This is exactly what I need as well. I've started using Twitter Tools on my Wordpress blog to create a daily digest of my twitters on my blog, but the first one is always, inevitably, the twit that describes the post of the Twitter digest on my blog from twitterfeed. I'd like to exclude that particular post from being published to my twitter. Not sure if this makes any sense, but an exclude filter would be great.

Inappropriate?hey - good to see we're gettin some momentum on this one. Thanks for giving a concrete Wordpress example! I thought I'd share a concrete wikispaces example. This is what twitterfeed automatically generates when I redirect pages:
& Transferable Skill (Redirect to What) http://twurl.nl/8du2db
if you check the twurl - not very useful!
Love to filter out ones like these - support for regular expressions would be awesome to be most precise!
Simple exclude on "(Redirect" will suffice for now.
I’m inspired

Inappropriate?Yep - agree with this one. Or at least have a regex option :-)

Inappropriate?I like to import niche news articles and "how to" videos into my Twitter stream. Only problem is that sometimes the "How To" videos are NOT appropriate. As in "How to Have Sex In A Car" and "How to Have a One Night Stand".
So not only would it be good to be able to have a negative filter list, but it would be nice to have a checkbox that says "Exclude Adult" or something that would automatically apply a neg filter with a current list of adult terms applied.
I’m happy

Inappropriate? My news site contains some AP stories that I'd like to exclude from my twitterfeed.

Inappropriate? This is a great idea - I post a lot of stuff that's basically for my own sake, and it'd be great to be able to exclude from my twitterfeed.
I’m excited that this could happen!

Inappropriate?an exclude filter would be great. I'd love to exclude or substitute single words (swear words), but excluding whole posts on the basis of words contained in the headline... great idea!

Inappropriate?I would really like this as well. I use twitterfeed to tweet my delicious bookmarks, and my blog.
I use feedburner to add daily summary of my delicious bookmarks to my blog feed... and twitter feed blogs them again :-(
an exclude would be really usefull.
