Turn off Too Many Postings!!

I get pages of posts from the same people over and over again, Often up to 10 posts in just a few minutes. Most are coming from twitterfeed. I have to weed through them in order to find items that I may be interested in. I originally thought this would be a great way to spread the word about some business stuff i was doing, but some people seem to be abusing the system. Is there a way to limit how often people can post before they can post again? They aren't repeats postings, just too much about too much all at once from the same person.
