Inappropriate? It all looks like it should work (the twitter API returns OK when posting), but the posts don't seem to appear. Could you try posting a test item manually yourself, and see if that appears? If not, then you'd need to contact twitter since it looks like the account has somehow been disabled.
-
Inappropriate?I added two feeds to my secondary Twitter account (CogCartoon) to test this service: a self-hosted WordPress blog feed and my Flickr feed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/coghillus...
http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/...@N08&lang=en-us&format=rss_200
Everything checks out fine when I do the "validate feed", but nothing shows up in the Twitter stream.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Looking at the db, it looks like these feeds have been posting (on 25th and 22nd May respectively). The CogCartoon twitter user is protected, so I can't tell what it looks like there. If there still is a problem posting, please let me know..
-
Inappropriate?Looks like it finally started kicking in, I see the most recent posts from both feeds on the Twitter stream now.
Thanks!
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?RSS feed validates in the TwitterFeed settings panel, got some posts to Twitter yesterday... but since then, nothing.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?mine says 401 unauthorized, check your username/password but everything i've checked is ok!!
my twitter is twitter.com/queengilda
rss feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/freebird
I’m annoyed
-
Hmm.. seems this is working now, did you change the password, or was it a temporary issue? -
Inappropriate?Any idea why are feeds are not being posted to twitter, it seems like they are taking a few hours or not posting at all.
Currently this feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/DVDTOWNnews) has 5 items that have not yet been posted to our twitter account (http://twitter.com/dvdtown), it's been 7 hours since the last post according to twitter.
The twitterfeed setting Update frequency is set to Every 30 mins and Post up to 5 new updates each time is the other setting.
Any ideas what might be happening?
Thanks,
D -
This feed seems to be set to "inactive", so won't post. You can re-activate it in the "my twitter feeds" settings. -
Inappropriate?I'm using different feeds (http://www.dvdtown.com/rss/news.php & http://www.dvdtown.com/rss/review.php) because I thought the problem had something to do with the time stamp.
Not sure what is going on, I'm missing posts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
D -
Inappropriate?I've the same problem here. Feed validates (http://feeds.feedburner.com/VietnamIt...), frequency is set to 30 min and to 5 new updates each time.
Nothing happened during the past 12hours. -
It looks like the most recent item in that feed has been posted to twitter ok. Once more recent items are added to the feed, they should then be posted, but until then, nothing will happen (which is how it's meant to work, of course). -
It seems to work as expected now. Perhaps it is the initial post that takes longer.
Thanks. -
Inappropriate? If you look at our feed (http://www.dvdtown.com/rss/review.php) for August 9th it only posted the first review (Affinity (DVD)) on Twitter, there should have two other posts (Man, Woman and the Wall (DVD) & Urban Legend (Blu-ray)). This is also happening with our news feed (http://www.dvdtown.com/rss/news.php); it only posts the first item in the feed if there are multiple posts at the same time. I have it set to post 5 at a time in twitterfeed. Any idea what would be causing this or how we could fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
D -
I think it's because these items all have exactly the same time stamp. If the times were "real" times rather than "00:00" for each item, then it should work. As it is, twitterfeed sends one item, but then won't send the others with the same timestamp since it doesn't consider them new items. -
Inappropriate?Hello. It looks like that I have a similiar problem.
Twitter acc: http://twitter.com/l2fansite
Rss feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/lineage2f...
I tried both methods of posting. RSS feed and Twitter account tested. Everything is set up... but still not working.
I’m confused
-
Apologies, there was an issue with posting some of the feeds, which should be fixed now. -
Inappropriate?I had the same problem. My feeds are not yet posted to twitter and I have new items in my feed.
Thanks, -
Inappropriate?I also have a feed that isn't posting to http://twitter.com/moneyQuote
My feed is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/MoneyQuot...
It validates fine, but has not posted since creation. Is there a lag time from twitterfeed setup to the first posting to Twitter? -
Inappropriate?i am having the same issue. twitterfeed is not tweeting my RSS feed:
http://syalam.com/rss
my twitter account name is syalam -
Inappropriate?Same here, Please Help
I add 3 feed yesturday, all feeds are okay
but nothing post to twitter
So many people have this problem I think maybe because twitterfeed' bug, so bad
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?I too am having trouble with a newly added feed.
I added one yesterday, and everything seemed fine.
However it is still not posting.
Ideas?
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?Same issue. Here's my feed URL: http://www.newsevents.tcu.edu/news/rs...
From my last three posts, number 1 and 3 failed to show up on Twitter. Number 2 came through fine. That's weird that it skipped like that.
My feed validates. I've tried updating it with no luck.
I could tweet these posts manually, but I'm afraid that Twitterfeed might eventually kick into gear, and I've have double-posts. Is this possible? -
Is this still an issue? - seems to look like it's updating now. -
Well, I went ahead and updated the missing feeds manually. I hope they won't accidentally "re-post", should twitterfeed kick-in.
A new post from my feed (via twitterfeed) updated automatically a few hours ago - so that's encouraging. But I'm not convinced the problem is solved (at least until automatic updates from that feed appear with more regularity). -
Inappropriate?Okay, it seems my issue with updates has been resolved...sorta.
The feeds are starting to post to my twitter account, however due to an issue with my feed + twitterfeed sorting, updates are sporadic.
Have a look at my new issue - http://getsatisfaction.com/twitterfee...
Thanks!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Hmmm... More of the same problem with my feed http://www.newsevents.tcu.edu/news/rs...
It still seems to be skipping items, randomly, in my feed. -
Inappropriate? Here's something I just noticed. Let me know if you think this could be part of the problem.
The people creating our troublesome feed (http://www.newsevents.tcu.edu/news/rs...) have somehow managed to post every item at exactly 1:00 pm.
Now, I know they aren't really all synchronized like that. For example, there's already a post for 1:00 pm today (and it's only 8:30 am right now).
If an item is actually posted before/after the time stamp, will that affect how Twitterfeed operates? -
Yes, twitterfeed stores the most recent publish date, and when it checks for new items, will only post an item if it contains a publish date that is newer than the previously stored one. So if twitterfeed e.g. posts an item with a publish date of 1pm today, it will then only post other items if they have at least a publish date of 1:01pm today.
