Twitterfeed not updating with posts
My feed isn't updating in Twitterfeed. It worked up to yesterday. It's valid. It's in Google Reader. Posts from 4 hours ago still not in Twitterfeed or Twitter (Twitterfeed is supposed to update every hour). Feed: http://feeds2.feedburner.com/viewfrom...

Inappropriate? No posts today at all! I thought one of our bloggers had posted a wrong future date, killed the feeds and restarted them. But they're not moving yet...
I’m frustrated
-
If you continue to have problems, could you let me know the twitter account you're posting to, and I'll try and take a closer look. -
Inappropriate?Judi - I can't seem to find this feed URL in the database - which twitter account is it meant to post to?
-
Inappropriate?twitter.com/judis217
It did eventually post to Twitter yesterday, but it was about 5 hours after the original blog post.

Inappropriate? Our feed is not being posted either since yesterday afternoon. Twitter account is: twitter.com/yourdolphin
I’m frustrated
-
The problem seems to be that your feed (http://www.yourdolphin.com/twitter.xml) doesn't contain any data, so there are no new items for twitterfeed to post. -
Hi Mario, our server's firewall died at the weekend so that's why you were unable to view our feed data. This was not the cause of the twitterfeed problem. Our feed is online now so please advise. -
I can access it ok, but there are no items - i.e. I can see the feed, but the feed doesn't contain any items.
Here's a screenshot of the source of the feed: http://skitch.com/mario/bihyx/source-...
.. but you'll probably see the same when you look at the feed itself? -
try again - there's definately data! -
Inappropriate? My updates are not working either. The RSS feed seems to be okay but there have been no new posts on either my Twitter or Identi.ca.

Inappropriate?Same problem here. Twitterfeed didn't update 2 posts I made yesterday. I made a very short blog entry and it caught that one -- but still hasn't posted the two previous posts. http://www.workforcelang.com/blog/feed
-
I can't seem to find this feed URL in the database. Which twitter account are you posting to? -
to 'workforcelang'. -
It looks like the most recent posts in both feeds you've set up have been posted (according to their publish date).
http://www.wlstranslations.com/blog/f... contains 2 items above the one which was posted to twitter, but the publish date of these 2 items is older than the one that was already posted, which is why they are not considered "new" by twitterfeed.
If necessary you could change this in the feed settings, by selecting "post based on GUID" instead of the default "pubDate". In that case, twitterfeed will pick new items off the top of the feed, based on the GUID entry, and not based on the publish date. -
Inappropriate? Most of my feeds say 'invalid' on the dashboard, but the one's I've tested do have data in the source RSS and validate fine in the 'edit' screen. The biggest account I'm feeding is @uktrains.
Looks like it's been dead for a few hours - has been working happily with these feeds for many months.
Wish I could pay for this product (!)

Quick update: This may be a Yahoo Pipes issue - seems unusually slow, but consfused why the feed validates so quickly...
I’m sad
-
Ahh - it looks like Yahoo! is throttling twitterfeed access again. We recently added a new instance doing feed processing, and it seems the IP address for this isn't whitelisted (I take the blame for this, as I haven't asked Yahoo to whitelist the new IP address). I've requested this now, so hopefully they can add the new twitterfeed IP address to the whitelist soon.
Sorry again.. -
Inappropriate?Ahhhh... that explains why the difference between what I can see manually and what Twitterfeed reports.
Thankyou!
I'll log it separately too, but some more detailed error messages (what the error returned to Twitterfeed was) would be really handy in troubleshooting this kind of issue (when it *is* the feed that's dodgy). And if it e-mailed me error notifications I'd actually come 'round your house with a bucket of money this evening (well, kind-of... you get the picture).
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? My twitterfeed hasn't updated since Saturday.
