Unable to see the feed listed in my profile
Hey there, I've got a Twitterfeed set up through wordpress.com for quite a while now and I'd like to modify that now.
However I'm unable to find the feed as my list of feeds appears to be empty, even though it's posting: http://twitter.com/carocat/statuses/5...
I'm not sure if it's related, but since setting up Twitterfeed I set up domain mapping for my wp.com blog changing my url from carocat.wordpress.com to carocat.co.uk.
Please advise on how I can see the created feed or alternatively just delete it and I'll set it up again.
Thanks. :)

Inappropriate?Hi, are you saying that you changed your OpenID URL? You can go to https://twitterfeed.com/reminder/ and enter your twitter credentials to show the OpenID URL you used when you created the feeds that go to that twitter account.
If for some reason you can't login using this OpenID URL anymore, please send me an email (mario at menti dot net) with the original and new OpenID you want to use, plus your twitter username and password so I can verify it's your feed.

Inappropriate?Hey there, that was a quick reply. :)
OpenID URL for twitter user carocat: http://carocat.wordpress.com/
However due to the domain mapping at wp.com that automatically gets converted to http://carocat.co.uk
So carocat.wp.com exists, but it changed. Maybe this explains it a bit more: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/10/d...
I'd rather not give my Twitter password out, is there any other way I can prove it's my Twitter account?
Cheers, Cat. :)
I’m thinking the chocolate muffin looks a lot better.

Inappropriate?Hi Cat,
out of interest, have you tried to sign in at wordpress.com, and then enter carocat.wordpress.com when logging in at twitterfeed. Although it redirects as you say, it still seems to be aware that it's a hosted wordpress.com blog, so perhaps this may work? Worth a try? -
Inappropriate?Yep, tried that, it changes to the mapped domain. Both domains exist, just anything that's got http://carocat.wordpress.com/ automatically changes to http://carocat.co.uk/ which from my blog's side is what I paid my money for over at wp.com and want!
Is there no chance you could just delete the Twitterfeed under carocat.wp.com. If you click the link you'll see it gets redirected to carocat.co.uk.
I'd be happy to make some sort of test post on Twitter/my blog to prove ownership?
Cat
I’m still hungry..

Inappropriate?OK, I just followed you on twitter, so you could just send me a direct message to confirm (I'm twitter.com/mario). When you log into twitterfeed now, does it say you're logged in as http://carocat.co.uk/? If so, I'll just update your info in the database, and your existing feed(s) should still be there.
-
Inappropriate?Just sent you the message. And yes, it does show up as carocat.co.uk regardless what I use to sign in with.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Try now - you should be able to log in as carocat.co.uk and see your feed(s).
-
Inappropriate?Flavio: are you talking about uploading a profile image to twitter? If so, look at the twitter help, since it is not something twitterfeed does..
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same trouble as carocat, and I tried the reminder thing, but I get a message saying, "We couldn't find a matching twitter username and password in our database." TwitterFeed is working with my feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/eclecticl...), and I haven't changed the login information, so I don't know why your reminder tool isn't working. My Twitter name is anna_c and my OpenID URL is claimid.com/eclecticlibrarian.
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?Anna, it's also possible that you used your email address rather than your twitter name when setting up the feed, which would explain why the reminder couldn't find it. Instead of the twitter name, try entering the email address you used when registering your twitter account, and hopefully this should find it. If not, let me know and I'll take a look manually.

Inappropriate?Hi Mario,
My twitter is yannicklejeune
My feed is :
http://feeds.feedburner.com/YannickLe...
I can't find my feed listed in my profile.
I tried with email or with url retriever, nothing works.
Can you help me ? -
Inappropriate? If you go to https://twitterfeed.com/reminder/ and enter your twitter id (yannicklejeune) with the correct password (as you entered it when you originally set up the twitter feeds), then it will show you the corresponding OpenID URL.
Note that if you have since changed your password at twitter.com, this would not automatically update that at twitterfeed, so make sure you enter it as you did when you set up the feed (but if this was the case, twitterfeed would not be able to post to twitter either) -
Inappropriate?Hi Mario,
I wasn't clear with my probleme : I have the OPenID URL but I can't see any connection of my feed with twitter in the list linke dto my account. -
Inappropriate?Hello,
I'm also unable to view my existing feed(s).
When I've add this feed I was using my ziki OpenID : http://www.ziki.com/en/people/dhjapan (as the reminder page confirms)
But now when I try to login using the same OpenID it logs me in but turn the OpenID to : http://www.ziki.com/en/dhjapan, and, I guess, that's why I can't access my feeds.
Ziki has changed, and the OpenID they let me use isn't http://www.ziki.com/en/people/dhjapan any more but http://www.ziki.com/dhjapan
By the way my Twitter account is http://twitter.com/dhjapan
Thanks a lot for your help. -
Inappropriate?dhjapan: could you email me your twitter password at mario@menti.net (so I can compare against what I have on record in twitterfeed and confirm it's really you), and I'll change it manually. Alternatively I'm following you now on twitter, so you can just send me a direct message which will prove the same.
I'll try and get in contact with ziki.com to see if this is a generic change, because I may be able to change the OpenID for everyone that uses ziki.com as their OpenID provider. However, I'd need to be sure before I do a blanket change, so for now please contact me directly if you have a ziki.com account that needs its OpenID URL updating. -
Inappropriate? You solved my problem. Thanks Mario.

Inappropriate?I have my OpenID at MyOpenID.com and I've delegated my domain aalaap.com to the same. I tried logging in as aalaap.com, www.aalaap.com as well as aalaap.myopenid.com but I'm still getting an empty feed list. I have some four or five feeds there and I need to make some urgent changes.
Mario, I'm following you on Twitter. My username is "aalaap". Please follow me back so I can send you a DM to prove my identity. :)

Inappropriate?OK, I'm following you now. According to the db there's only one feed posting to that twitter account though, and according to https://twitterfeed.com/reminder, you should be able to see this when logging in as http://www.aalaap.com
-
Inappropriate?I also have this problem.
My Twitter name is nonimage.
My openID for Twitterfeed is nonimage.com. I have confirmed this using the reminder feature.
Yet when I log in I can't see the feed I set up a long time ago. How can I see that feed so that I can delete it?
Thanks -
Once you're logged in, what does it say exactly behind the "logged in as"...? If that's the same as the URL that the reminder page shows, then you should see your feeds. If for some reason it's different, I can update the db manually. In that case, please send me a DM on twitter (I'm mario, and just followed you to enable you to do that) in order to confirm that you own the account. -
Inappropriate?Hi Mario,
Ziki has changed his openIDs URL, mine was
http://www.ziki.com/people/yannicklej...
and now it's http://www.ziki.com/yannicklejeune
Can you connect my Twitter account yannicklejeune to the new OpenID URL ?
Thanks -
Are you sure it's http://www.ziki.com/yannicklejeune ? I'm just asking because I have lots of ziki URLs which contain a language also, e.g. http://www.ziki.com/en/yannicklejeune or "fr" instead of "en". Could you confirm the *exact* URL you see after the "logged in as..." in twitterfeed, when you log in through Ziki? Once that's confirmed I'll update it in the db.
