Why can I not STOP TwitterFeed from updating???
I've deleted the feed I setup to post Facebook to Twitter via Twitterfeed.... yet, it is still trying to update it! It keeps posting no matter what I do! How do I make it stop?

Inappropriate?Try checking https://twitterfeed.com/reminder to see if you have set up a feed using a different OpenID posting to that twitter account. If this shows a result, login using the OpenID shown, and this should give you access to the feeds listed under that OpenID URL. If the reminder page doesn't show a result, let me know the twitter account you're posting to and I'll take a closer look.10 Comments

I am having the same issue and tried your reminder link above. My twitterfeed account shows no active twitter feeds in it, but I can see that twitterfeed is still updating my twitter account via my blog frequently. I'd like to make some adjustments since there's lots of redundancy right now. Is this hopeless? Twitterfeed is polluting my twitter account and I don't seem to have a way to taylor it. -

Strange, when I put your twitter credentials into the reminder page, it does show me the OpenID URL, so are you sure you've entered the correct password? FWIW, it suggests you're using Yahoo! OpenID, so you should be able to log in that way and turn off the feed.

I am able to login, but in the account that the reminder tells me to use, I see no active feeds that are editable or deletable, etc.

Rong, have you tried https://twitterfeed.com/reminder, and logged in with the *exact* OpenID URl this shows?

I did the reminder and followed everything. Found the other feed but no feeds listed under that one either. My twitter ID = mariaduron Pls. make it stop. -
mariaduron - you had a very strange looking OpenID URL (you could see this in the reminder page also). I've manually changed it to http://mariaduron.myvidoop.com/ (which I think is what it should have been). Could you try and login with this exact OpenID URL, and see if you can then see your feed?

Inappropriate?Same problem here - deleted the feed from my account last night. This morning, I looked and a tweet went out from my account! I checked the /reminder and there was nothing there.
My twitter account is irishgirl.

I can't see an entry for this twitter account in the db, so it does look like it's been deleted. I see the last tweet was 12 hours ago - it's possible that a post was still being sent after you deleted the account, if the batch process had started before you deleted the feed (in other words, you deleted the feed while twitterfeed was already processing a chunk of feeds, of which yours was one).
If you continue to have an issue with this please let me know. -

It looks like you still have a feed set up to post to twitter directly, rather than through ping.fm. If you can't see it when logged in to twitterfeed, try https://twitterfeed.com/reminder to show you the OpenID you used when setting up this feed.

My feed was set you to my facebook, and even though i deleted the feed from the dashboard, it is still updating my facebook with stuff im not even posting.
