Wrong url shortener being used.
I have been using bit.ly as my url shortener since I started using twitterfeed but now suddenly cli.gs is being used despite not being selected in my feed settings. What has caused this?

Inappropriate? If it happens all the time, and you are using your own API info, then it may be a problem with the API info not being correct. If it happens intermittently, and/or you didn't provide any API info, then it's most likely a temporary issue with the bit.ly API, so twitterfeed used a different shortener just to be able to post a link at all.

Inappropriate? So twitterfeed won't do any type of queuing? That is, if it can't use bit.ly, queue it up and try again?
I’m sad

No, not at the moment, if a call to a URL shortener fails, it just switches to a different shortener, rather than retrying the same item again. -
Inappropriate?I would prefer if twitterfeed were to notify me by email about a problem with the shortener and give me the option of posting with a different one or waiting for my prefered one to start working again. Perhaps there should be a choice in preferences to either post using an available shortener or wait for user intervention.
I’m frustrated
