    Texting & Unique RSS Feeds

    Hello,

The RSS reader that I wish to use doesn't seem to support authentication. I am currently using another very similar service which doesn't require authentication as a unique feed address is provided. The other site takes notes via text message but not via Twitter.

Any chance you can provide unique RSS feeds and a number to text notes to?

TwitterNotes released Last reply on October 01, 2007 12:10.

After some days of happy (most of the times) development we have finally released TwitterNotes. I was using more Twitter in the past weeks and occurred to me why not use Twitter to record things to do. It’s one of the most spread messaging systems it’s nearly everywhere, from IM to mobile phone and iPhones, so that makes it a great mean to record something anywhere. Alcides helped me with the design and some JavaScript, which I really should start learning...

The idea is simple, just put a plus sign before your message and it will appear as a note at TwitterNotes. You can also tag your notes, surrounding tags with asterisks or writing them after a cardinal sign. We’ve tried to keep the method as simple as possible, so that you don’t need much time to publish your note and gain more time to actually get things done. At your TwitterNotes’ account, you can manage all your notes. We’ve also built an API to enable everyone to extract their notes in a RSS feed and use them freely.

We’re planning on making a Netvibes’ widget with the latest notes and maybe a mobile version of the website, if we feel there’s interest for it. Now we are looking for feedback: bugs, ideas, feature requests, etc... You can drop them here or at TwitterNotes’ community. So if you have a Twitter account, go ahead and try it. We hope it will be useful to you.

I love TwitterNotes' flexible approach to tags Last reply on September 16, 2007 11:10.

The fact that I can mark them inline with asterixes (*) or as separate metadata with pound signs (#) should please everyone. Nice job.
